Civics Education Update

ESSAY CONTEST 2008 WINNER ANNOUNCED

 

The 2008 McConnell Center Annual Essay Contest for Kentucky High School Students asked students to propose and defend a 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution.  After reviewing a number of outstanding entries, the contest selection committee has named a winner from the eight finalists and three special commendation awards. The titles of their amendment proposals are given below.
